Bartermania collects account details such as your email address, display name, profile details, city or ZIP code, listing content, uploaded photos, proposals, messages, reviews, reports, and contact messages you send to the admin team.
How we use information
We use this information to operate the marketplace, show active listings, support proposals and conversations, improve trust and safety, respond to contact messages, and help admins review reports.
What others can see
Active listings and basic profile details may be visible to visitors and registered users. Private proposal conversations are intended for the users involved and authorized admins when review is needed.
Service providers
Bartermania uses Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage. Future email notifications may use a transactional email provider for important proposal, message, or admin updates.
Location and safety
We use city and ZIP code instead of exact street addresses for the MVP. Avoid posting sensitive personal details in public listings or chat messages.
Your choices
You can update your profile, edit or delete your listings, and contact the admin team about account, listing, or privacy questions.
